Biography
Echoes of Eternity formed in 2004 as a progressive and melodic heavy metal band, founded in Los Angeles by guitarist Brandon Patton, a longtime local veteran whose résumé already included multiple music projects and an extended, intermittent collaboration with drummer Kirk Clarrison. The pair next targeted a female-fronted lineup, recruiting Canadian singer Francine Boucher and bassist Duane Cowan, and the quartet soon tracked a self-titled, three-song EP that appeared in 2005. The recording in turn earned the group a deal with Nuclear Blast Records, resulting in the early-2007 release of their debut full-length album, The Forgotten Goddess.
