Eiffel

In 1998 Romain and Estelle Humeau formed the French rock band Eiffel. Their debut EP L'Affaire appeared the following year and drew the attention of producer Bertrand Burgalat, who was then assembling a backing group for French writer Michel Houellebecq's own 1999 music project. As the band's audience steadily expanded, Eiffel issued the albums L'Abricotine in 2001 and Le Quart d'Heure des Ahuris in 2002. Romain Humeau subsequently paused collective work to complete his solo album L'Éternité de l'Instant, released in 2005. The group reconvened for the EP Ma Part d'Ombre in 2006 and the album Tandoori in 2007. The full-length À Tout Moment surfaced in 2009, with Foule Monstre following in 2012.
