Tech-house and peak-time techno from British DJ and producer Eli Brown surge with raucous, driving energy. Originally active in drum'n'bass, he introduced the Eli Brown house project during 2016 and quickly issued a string of rave-oriented cuts. A standout 2019 club success arrived via the Solardo collaboration "XTC," while further partnerships developed with Calvin Harris, Green Velvet, Oliver Heldens, and additional artists. Momentum continued through later releases such as the 2022 track "Believe" and 2023's "Diamonds on My Mind."

Bristol native Gavin Harris first emerged within the drum'n'bass community, issuing material as Xample across the 2000s before signing to Andy C's RAM Records in 2007. Alongside regular partner Lomax he formed the duo Loadstar, which delivered two albums on that label throughout the 2010s. He also explored electro-house alongside Delta Heavy's Si James in Paper Planes, resulting in a two-song single on the OWSLA sub-label Nest in 2016. Shifting focus to house, Harris sent an anonymous demo to touring acquaintance Skream, who subsequently issued the first three Eli Brown EPs on Of Unsound Mind. Additional singles and EPs appeared on Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars, Mark Knight's Toolroom Records, Green Velvet's Relief Records, and other prominent club imprints. International touring followed, including initial performances at Miami Music Week and London's Fabric. The Solardo collaboration "XTC" gained support from BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac and earned DJ Mag's track-of-the-year nod; the pair extended their run with 2020's "My Life," while Brown paired with Calvin Harris' acid-house alias Love Regenerator for "Moving." Further 2020 output encompassed the Green Velvet track "Unapologetic Raver" and the EP Fading to Black amid limited live opportunities.

His 2021 output opened with the Talk Show collaboration "Trouble," featuring the London post-punk quartet, then continued through the Escape EP, the second Love Regenerator joint "We Can Come Together," "Send Help," and assorted singles. The following year brought the EPs Believe, Rudeboi, and Deep Down, plus the HI-LO (Oliver Heldens) collaboration "Industria" and a remix of Orbital's "Chime." Heavy club rotation greeted the 2023 cuts "Be the One" and "Diamonds on My Mind," while a second HI-LO link-up surfaced as "Ride or Die."
