Tim Keiling, operating under the alias Erdbeerschnitzel, produces house music in Germany and shapes richly textured, unconventional dance pieces marked by a witty, lighthearted tone. Deeply melodic grooves in his style typically incorporate intricately reworked vocal fragments drawn from R&B sources, paired with substantial low-end frequencies, to create eccentric yet emotionally resonant cuts that suit adventurous club environments. Production work began for Keiling in 2006, starting with experiments in big beat and drum'n'bass before he settled into a distinctive house approach. A series of digital outings surfaced across 2008 and 2009, among them the album-length Pathetik Party, whose varied selections spanned dubstep and meticulously reworked micro-house. In 2010, 12" EPs surfaced via 3rd Strike Records, Mirau, and 4 Lux, highlighting the more floor-oriented dimensions of his material. Tender Leaf, a 2012 double LP of fluid and atmospheric house compositions, also came out on Mirau. Delsin became the label for the 2013 EP Cushion, with The Ample Waters arriving the following year. Rote Liebe then issued The Attendants in 2015, marking Erdbeerschnitzel's most exploratory release so far.
