Biography
Drawing its moniker from verse appearing in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, the German black metal outfit Evereve came together in 1993. Its original lineup featured vocalist Tom Sedotschenko alongside guitarists Thorsten Weißenberger and Stephan Kiefer, with Michael Zeissl handling synthesizers, Stefan Müller on bass, and Marc Werner behind the drums. In 1994 the band issued the demo tape On the Verge of Tears, and the following year it collaborated on a split CD with the fellow German group Parracide. The full-length debut album Seasons arrived in 1997, succeeded the next year by the second LP Stormbirds.
