Biography
Hailing from Vineland, the underachieving thrash metal group Faith or Fear emerged from New Jersey at a time when the Garden State teemed with comparable outfits. Its lineup included vocalist Tim Blackman, guitarists Chris Bombeke and Bob Perna, bassist C.J. Jenkins, and drummer Rich Lohwasser, and the band issued its lone album, Punishment Area, on Combat Records in 1989.
