Angel Du$t

Angel Du$t, a punk supergroup based in Baltimore, channels the spirit of classic melodic hardcore through its energetic, riff-based sound reminiscent of Gorilla Biscuits, All, and Bad Brains. With personnel drawn from Trapped Under Ice and Turnstile, the group launched its career via the 2014 release A.D.

The project originated in 2013 when Justice Tripp, vocalist for Trapped Under Ice, teamed up with Turnstile's drummer Daniel Fang to establish the outfit, which also features bassist Nick Heitman and guitarist Pat McCrory. Their initial album, fittingly titled A.D., emerged that year through the imprints REACT! and Reaper Records. By 2016, Tripp and Fang had joined forces with Brendan Yates—known for his work behind the kit in both Trapped Under Ice and Diamond Youth—to launch the independent Pop Wig Records. That same year saw the arrival of the band's second album, Rock the Fuck on Forever, issued via Pop Wig in partnership with Run for Cover. In 2019, Roadrunner Records put out Pretty Buff, a Will Yip-helmed effort that featured songs such as "Bang My Drum," "On My Way," and "Take Away the Pain."
