Biography
The group that eventually became Superheaven began life as Daylight in 2007. Despite switching to their present name in 2014, the grunge revivalists kept intact the same sound, built on the propulsive, sludgy '90s melodies that had always informed their work and that continued to echo the style of Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgarden. To present this refreshed identity, they re-released their debut full-length Jar under the new band name later that year. In 2015 they signed with the Los Angeles indie Side One Dummy and issued Ours Is Chrome.
