Manchester, U.K. resident Finn McCorry, who performs primarily under his given name, creates and performs the high-octane style he terms "Fast Music," fusing speed garage, ghetto house, U.K. hardcore, and additional accelerated club forms. Although his recorded output began in 2014 with the Keep Calling EP, wider recognition arrived after the 2017 single "Sometimes the Going Gets a Little Tough" emerged as a major club success. Subsequent projects have included joint releases with Shanique Marie, DJ Q, and India Jordan, alongside the solo EP A Good Place in 2021.

He has maintained a DJ career since the early 2010s, dividing his time between England and San Francisco while holding a residency at Manchester club night Chowdown. His debut recording, Keep Calling, appeared on Local Action as a collection of grime-tinged R&B edits. A remix EP and the 2015 release Knock Knock came next, after which his productions gained support from Kode9, Mr. Mitch, and DJ Q. Two further singles and the 2017 mixtape Accelerated Club followed, coinciding with the launch of a monthly NTS Radio program and the Finn B2B podcast series.

Local Action issued the six-track EP Sometimes the Going Gets a Little Tough in late 2017, presenting bittersweet yet consistently upbeat club material. Its title track accumulated millions of streams and drew notice from Diplo and Annie Mac. Defected picked up the track for a 2018 single release that expanded its reach. Finn stayed with Local Action for Dance Music Has Betrayed Us All in 2018 and Do What You Want Forever in 2019, while also teaming with India Jordan on the single "H.U.R.L"/"F.U.R.L." A separate collaboration with DJ Q yielded "Baby I Don't Know." on Swing Ting.

The Trick Trick EP surfaced on Rüf Kutz in 2020. Local Action followed with the limited vinyl pressings R.T.S./T.M.H.M and Bitter/Sweet, plus the Shanique Marie collaboration "Lifey"/"Movers." on Equiknoxx. Both the solo EP A Good Place and the India Jordan pairing "All About Love"/"Big B" arrived in 2021.
