Biography
Hailing from Britain, Flash Mob Jazz brings an energetic contemporary spin to vintage swing, jump blues, and layered vocal pop. The Brighton-based ensemble first assembled in 2012 during the members' shared jazz studies at a London university. While drawing primary influence from classic swing and jazz repertoire of the 1920s to the 1950s, they also adapt contemporary material into swinging retro arrangements. Their debut album, They've Only Gone n' Dun n' Done It!, appeared in 2015.
