Biography
Formed in Modesto, California, the five-piece rock unit Flying Blind refined its aggressive rock & roll approach beginning in the late 1990s and steadily built recognition throughout the local area. Scott Beck handled drums, Keith Cole and Jeff Green both played guitar, Andrew Franca covered bass, and Matt Brown delivered vocals; the group issued its self-titled debut in 1997, after which copies sold out rapidly on the strength of hometown show attendance and regional radio exposure. The follow-up album, Push, arrived via Universal-Republic in early 2001.
