Gisselle

Born in New York, singer and actress Gisselle grew up amid her Puerto Rican relatives. At fifteen the eager young performer took up dance and secured several stage spots with Latin teen sensation Menudo at San Juan’s Luis A. Ferre arts center. Her vocal work started in the tropical ensemble Kaviar before she moved into pop ballads as a member of Punto G. In the early 1990s the artist turned to acting, appearing in television series and the film Weekend War. After signing with BMG she issued her debut album in 1995, which soon attained gold and platinum status. Gisselle stepped back into television in 1999 for a role in El Día Menos Pensado. She later cut the Grammy-nominated Voy A Enamorarte under producer Kike Santander.
