Biography
Johnny Hawk of Global Goon began as a shepherd in Liverpool before securing a Rephlex contract upon arriving in London and sharing quarters for a period with Richard D. James, otherwise recognized as Aphex Twin. While employed at a multimedia firm in the city, he continued creating tracks in his spare time; once he took up residence in a house with James, his debut release Goon appeared on the label in 1996. Speculation that Aphex Twin had actually made Goon carried on well after Cradle of History surfaced two years afterward.
