Biography
Formed in Berlin, the German alternative rock outfit Gods of Blitz earned critical praise for their output while performing alongside notable figures in the scene such as Maximo Park and Nick Oliveri. Their initial EP, titled Gods of Blitz, appeared in 2005, soon succeeded by the band's first album-length effort, Stolen Horse, within the same calendar year. The lineup of Jens Giovanni Freudenberg on guitar, Sebastian Gabel handling bass and vocals, Jakob Kiersch on drums, and Olli Wong also on guitar put out their follow-up full-length Reporting A Mirage during 2007.
