Biography
The French recording outfit Grand Tourism consists of Chris Canavaggio, Bob Farrel, and sound engineer Sean Henry. By weaving their own ambient electronics into power pop, the trio also draws influential threads from funk, disco, and glam rock. They released the singles "La Baie du Fakir" (1998) and "Sexy Funky" (1999) ahead of the mini-album A l'Ecouté de tes Coubes. Their eponymous studio full-length appeared on Higher Octave in spring 2001.
