Hackman

Origin: U.S.A
Listen on Coda
The power trio Hackman emerged from Boston, Massachusetts, as a post-stoner rock outfit built around local veterans Darryl Sheppard on guitar and occasional vocals after earlier work with Milligram and Roadsaw, Jase Forney on bass and trumpet following his time in Lamont, and Todd Bowman on drums, likewise an alumnus of Lamont. Active together under the Hackman name beginning in 2005, the group laid down its largely instrumental debut album, The New Normal, the next year and issued the recording on Detroit's Small Stone during spring 2007.
