Hamlet

Formed during the closing years of the 1980s, the Spanish hardcore metal outfit Hamlet brought together vocalist J. Molly alongside guitarists Luis Tárraga and Pedro Sánchez, bassist Augusto Hernández, and drummer Javier Rocaberti, who would eventually give way to Paco Sánchez. Their first full-length effort, Peligroso, appeared in 1992, with Sanatorio de Muñecos and the Tampa, FL-recorded Revolución 12.111 coming next. Relocating to London in 1998 for the creation of Insomnio, the group put out El Infierno—helmed by producer Colin Richardson—during June of 2000.
