HAON

Born in Seoul, South Korea, in 2000 as Kim Ha-on, the K-pop rapper and singer known as Haon crafts a sound that merges hip-hop, dance elements, and R&B. He first tested the waters on season one of Mnet’s High School Rapper but exited after the opening round. Visibility surged in 2018 when he captured first place on season two, where both “Adios” and the Sik-K collaboration “Boong-Boong” reached the Top 30. The victory prompted the immediate release of his debut EP, Travel: Noah, whose celebratory cut “Noah” featured Jay Park and Hoody and helped the project reach number 21 on the Circle Albums chart. Standalone singles such as “Flower” and “BwB” followed before Haon issued his first full-length album, Haonoah, in 2024, spotlighting the moody, romantic R&B ballad “Over You.”
