Hatiras, born George, stands among Canada's leading DJs and has delivered sets at innumerable clubs throughout countries ranging from Japan and Colombia to Poland, the United States, Germany, Australia, and his native land. He launched the Blow Media imprint in 2003 and also established the Hatrax label. Working as a remixer brought him into contact with dance-pop's major figures, among them Kylie Minogue and Loleatta Holloway. A Juno Award nomination arrived in 2008, confirming his standing, though it was not his first recognition; he had already taken the prize in 2002 for the track "Spaced Invader" and again in 2006, this time with Macca, for "Spanish Fly." He has furthermore hosted a weekly radio program.
