Renowned across the globe as a DJ, producer, and electronic music creator, Honey Dijon crafts dynamic sets, reinterpretations, and original material that highlight delight alongside individual self-exploration. She delivers fresh takes on longstanding disco and techno selections while placing her own compositions on projects including the 2017 debut The Best of Both Worlds and the 2022 follow-up Black Girl Magic.

Born Honey Redmond, she was raised in Chicago inside a family deeply immersed in music. Her DJ career launched in the 1990s under the mentorship of Chicago house figures such as Derrick Carter and Mark Farina. After settling in New York she began alternating between that city and Berlin, where her buoyant, house-rooted performances steadily expanded her audience.

Issued in 2017, The Best of Both Worlds presented an enveloping and enigmatic exploration of rhythm that incorporated appearances from Cakes da Killa, Nomi Ruiz, and additional contributors. Black Girl Magic arrived in 2022 in similar fashion, featuring Sadie Walker, Eve, Dope Earth Alien, and further accomplished collaborators whose input enriched Dijon’s hypnotic, interwoven grooves.
