Biography
The name of the Amsterdam-rooted Dutch indie rock quartet Hospital Bombers, along with the title of its first album, originated in a 2002 Mountain Goats composition titled "Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton." Guitarist Jan Schenk joined forces with violinist and vocalist Susanne Linssen, bassist Remco Mooijekind, and drummer Marc van der Holst to create the group. Its opening release, the 2006 EP Satan's Fingers, preceded the full-length Footnotes, which appeared on the Netherlands indie imprint Excelsior in 2008.
