Ida Redig

Initially working in a predominantly acoustic mode, Swedish singer/songwriter Ida Redig shifted toward electronic, dance-driven material on her second album, Thou Shall Not Be a Pussy. Following music studies at a Gothenburg college, she issued her reflective debut album, Standing Here, in 2010. Intent on altering her approach, Redig devoted the subsequent years to composing in fresh styles before partnering with Melody Club's Kristofer Östergren. Their sharp dance-pop aesthetic secured her a contract with Sofo Records, which put out the singles Shout and Show Me Now ahead of Thou Shall Not Be a Pussy arriving in 2014.
