Biography
In 2003 the Miami rapper Jacki-O broke through with the explicit sex rap “Nookie,” a track that prompted immediate comparisons to her fellow Southern peers Khia and Trina. Even before radio and club exposure brought her wider notice, she had already built strong local recognition through repeated appearances on Miami-area mixtapes. Capitalizing on that initial momentum, she followed with the similarly themed second single “Sugar Walls” in 2004, a release positioned ahead of her debut album, Poe Little Rich Girl.
