Primarily recognized for serving as Warpaint's bassist and lead vocalist, Jenny Lee Lindberg pursued an independent path under the moniker jennylee. During early 2015 at Happy Ending Studio in Silverlake, California, she laid down ten tracks alongside Warpaint's Stella Mozgawa and producer Norm Block—whose prior credits include Plexi and Mark Lanegan—fusing goth and new wave textures into the group's signature spacious dream pop. Rough Trade issued the finished album, right on!, that December.
