Biography
Jonathan Elias built an extensive body of scoring work for films and television programs that began with the music for Children of the Corn, although his pop-rock contributions have drawn criticism, most notably his involvement with Yes on the troubled Union album. Toward the middle of the 1990s he stepped away from motion-picture assignments and entered advertising, where his music for multiple Energizer and milk campaigns received notice and awards. The all-star orchestral album Prayer Cycle appeared in 1999.
