Kari Bremnes

Born in 1956 in Lofoten, Norwegian singer-songwriter Kari Bremnes first completed her university studies, culminating in a Master's Degree, and spent a brief time working as a journalist before stepping onto the stage. Her debut arrived in 1987 with the album Mitt Ville Hjerte. Across the following twenty years she issued more than ten full-length albums and several singles that found success in Norway as well as other European countries. In 2007 she released the album Reise, rendered in English as "Journey."
