During her enrollment at the Academy of Pop Music in Enschede, situated in the Dutch province of Overijssel, Krystl—born Krystl Pullens—established the band L.I.N.E. The ensemble launched its activities in 2003 and delivered its final concert in 2009, after which she embarked on a solo path and secured a deal with Universal Music’s Netherlands branch. “Golden Days,” her first single, appeared in November 2010, with the album Rolling following in May of the subsequent year. She maintained a busy touring schedule while receiving both a 3FM Award and an Edison Award, each honoring her as Best Newcomer.
