Biography
La Nube, a Spanish pop/rock ensemble, took shape in 1993 when drummer Pepe Benito—formerly of El Regalo de Silvia—joined forces with guitarist Silvia Fayanas. Singer/guitarist Cristina Pablo and bassist Nines Caceles rounded out the quartet. The foursome captured first place at Aragon’s Sonda Contest in 1997. That year also saw the release of their EP Fritas, followed by Pom, Pom, Pom in November 1998. Spanish independent label Grabaciones En El Mar issued the band’s debut album, 90-60-90, in May 1999; ex-Los Heroes del Silencio member Alan Boguslawsky handled production.
