Biography
Rayden, the Madrid rapper born David Martínez Álvarez, belonged to the collectives A3Bandas and Crew Cuervos, whose combined output totaled eight albums between 2003 and 2012. He competed regularly in Red Bull’s Batalla de los Gallos events and claimed the championship in 2006. After signing with Boa Music, he issued the solo projects Estaba Escrito in 2010 and Mosaico in 2012, followed by the double LP En Alma y Hueso in 2014. The next year Álvarez released the book Herido Diario, which gathered lyrics from his songs, and a poetry collection appeared the year after that. His fourth solo album, Antónimo, came out on Warner Music in 2017.
