Biography
Emerging from the outskirts of Vancouver, British Columbia, Ladyhawk is a Canadian quartet whose indie rock emphasizes raw, emotionally charged guitar work in the vein of the Replacements, Dinosaur Jr., and Neil Young & Crazy Horse. Duffy Driediger and Darcy Hancock share vocal and guitar responsibilities, Sean Hawryluk plays bass and sings, and Ryan Peters handles drums along with vocals. The band’s self-titled debut appeared on Jagjaguwar Records in June 2006, with Shots following in 2008.
