Biography
Brothers Ben Lionetti on guitar and Joe Lionetti on drums, both founding members of the metalcore band Emmure, established Lakeshore as a post-hardcore and modern rock outfit. The group pursues a distinctly melodic direction within the style, preferring clean vocals to guttural screams and resonant, ringing guitar lines instead of palm-muted breakdowns. Shawn Adams supplies vocals, Chris Segovia plays bass, and Mitch LoBuglio handles guitar; with those members in place the band tracked its debut EP, 41, alongside producer Ken Susi of Unearth, the Contortionist, and Madball. Outerloop Records issued the recording in 2017, which contained guest appearances by Karl Shubach of Misery Signals and Jessie Freeland of the Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza.
