Limi-T 21

Limi-T XXI, sometimes rendered as Limi-T 21, formed as a teenaged trio that rose to prominence among the leading merengue acts of the 1990s. Its members are Elvin Torres, Javier Bermúdez, and Angel Ramior Matos. In the first half of the decade the three issued multiple albums that earned both commercial success and critical notice, among them two gold-certified releases and one platinum-certified album within the Latin market. Their ascent accelerated sharply in 1996 after they joined RRM/Merengazo Records in the U.S., embarked on a string of international headline tours, and served as spokesmen for Tele 11 in Puerto Rico. Momentum remained strong through 1997 with the appearance of De Lo Que Soy Capaz.
