Biography
In the wake of Sublime frontman Brad Nowell's 1996 heroin overdose, the band's surviving bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh assembled the Long Beach Dub Allstars alongside singer Opie Ortiz, guitarists RAS-1 and Miguel, keyboardists Jack Maness and Isaiah Owens, saxophonists Todd Foreman and Tim Wu, and DJ Marshall Goodman. The ensemble first contributed tracks to multiple compilations and tribute albums before releasing its full-length debut Right Back on DreamWorks in the fall of 1999.
