Lovex

Hailing from Tampere, Finland, Lovex stands out as a dramatic hard rock outfit defined by soaring vocal hooks alongside even more commanding guitar riffs. Its roster includes keyboardist Christian, bassist Jason, drummer Julian Drain, guitarists Sammy Black and Vivian Sin'Amor, and vocalist Theon. The group’s founding members first assembled in the early 2000s, quickly amassing a substantial body of original songs. Their debut arrived in 2005 via the single “Bleeding,” which climbed to number two on the Finnish charts. Follow-up release “Guardian Angel” promptly entered at number one. Those chart successes paved the way for the full-length Divine Insanity, which surfaced in March 2006. Several months afterward, a deluxe version appeared, highlighted by a live rendition of Bon Jovi’s “Runaway.”
