Luigi Bleand forged an independent path as a reggaetonero, pop singer, songwriter, producer, and actor after growing up in an orphanage located in Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic. Music captivated him during his early years, prompting him to begin assisting in recording studios at age 13, first in Puerto Plata and subsequently in Santo Domingo. There he sharpened production techniques with area musicians and went on to master eight instruments.

He shaped a personal aesthetic by blending Caribbean and Colombian rhythms with 21st century Latin pop, reggaeton, and alternative R&B, designating the hybrid “reggae pop.” His debut album, Hits! Recopilation, surfaced in 2013 on MMG Distrbution. The next year he launched his own Bleand Style Recordings, Inc. A steady succession of singles ensued, among them 2015’s “Y No Estas,” 2018’s jaunty “La Maquinita,” and 2020’s seventeen-track Genesis, issued on his Asesino sin Guante Entertainment imprint.

During 2022 he delivered the club hits “Gomelo” and “Mamacita.” In 2023 the single “Zumba,” featuring Yomel El Meloso and Tivi Gun, appeared on reggaeton and tropical singles charts while its video accumulated more than two million views. Bleand also put out “Pilita” and co-wrote and performed with Dominican artist La Perversa on “Mueve Eso” for the We Are the Best label. That same year “FreneXis” and “Musho Maaaa” surfaced on Bleand Style. June 2024 brought the single “Media Puta” featuring MC Bin Laden.
