Darkiel

Darkiel, also known professionally as Darkiel Omar, entered the world in Puerto Rico and built a career as an urban pop singer and rapper. Recognition came largely through his near-constant presence as a featured collaborator on tracks by Benny Benni, Noriel, J Alvarez, Justin Quiles, Falsetto y Sammy, and Pepe Quintana, among many others. Working independently, he has released more than two dozen video singles, among them “Ella Me Oculta,” “Aqui Estas Tu” together with its remix, “Si Me Apagan el Sol,” and “Montate y Zumba.” One of these, a lyric video for J Alvarez’s remix of “De una Forma Diferente,” gathered more than 300,000 views in the first four days after its August 2016 upload. Across YouTube, Darkiel’s videos have collectively exceeded 40 million views.
