Lyla Foy

Emerging from London as a singer and songwriter, Lyla Foy first entered music-making in 2012 by adopting the name WALL and uploading her self-produced recordings to the internet, where they drew enthusiastic coverage from numerous blogs and music outlets. Early on she abandoned the pseudonym in favor of releasing and performing directly under her own name. This move brought a rapid contract with the major independent imprint Sub Pop, which issued her first album, Mirrors the Sky, in 2014; she promoted the record through a schedule of international live dates.
