Biography
Born David McCleary Sheldon, the Kansas City, MO rapper Mac Lethal had already built a name on the freestyling and battle-rhyming scene before issuing his debut album, Men Are from Mars, Porn Stars Are from Earth, in 2002. He inked a deal with Rhymesayers Entertainment in 2004, yet nearly three years passed before the label saw his first project, 11:11, arrive in October 2007. Mac Lethal co-founded the Kansas City-based imprint Black Clover Records, which later housed his four-volume series The Love Potion Collection, issued from 2003 to 2007.
