Biography
Born in Norway, Mads Eriksen issued his debut record Journey in 1990. This effort promptly positioned him among guitar virtuosos such as Yngwie Malmsteen and Joe Satriani. Storyteller appeared the following year. An ambitious project arrived in 1993 under the title Intermission Troldhaugen, honoring Norwegian classical composer Edward Grieg. Eriksen then unveiled the self-titled Mads Eriksson in 1994. Two years later came Plough Boy, which introduced a country-like texture. Continuing along those lines, Suburban Cowboy incorporated elements like banjo and accordion upon its 1998 release.
