Biography
In 1971 Jeff Loomis came into the world and, after learning that metal band Sanctuary had parted ways with its guitarist, forwarded the group a demo. The submission earned him the spot, yet the arrangement turned out to be short-lived. The band itself dissolved only eight weeks afterward. From the remains of Sanctuary, Loomis joined two of its former members to launch Nevermore.
