Maldita Nerea

Maldita Nerea originated in Murcia, Spain, during 2003, with Jorge Ruiz directing the lineup that also included Jordi Armengol, Luis Gomez, Tato Latorre, Pedro Carrillo, and Sergio Moriera. The ensemble quickly obtained a recording contract from Universal, which enabled the release of Cuarto Creciente that same year. El Secreto de las Tortugas appeared next in 2007, and Es un Secreto... reached listeners in 2009. The band reached its commercial peak in 2010, when both "Cosas Que Suenan A..." and "El Secreto de las Tortugas" climbed to number one.
