Originating from Rio de Janeiro, Brazilian DJ and producer Marcos Carnaval, now based in New York, crafts high-energy progressive house laced with tribal elements. His career began in the early aughts, bringing him several DJ awards in Brazil. Turntables first reached him at age three, after which he studied guitar and drums ahead of his teenage years. While still in high school he performed at parties, only taking up production once he turned twenty. Alongside the Top Ten Billboard Dance hit "Didn't Say," his catalog includes the tracks "808 Problems" and "King of Drums." In 2018 he released "Zulu" through Tommy Boy.
