Marilou

Born Marilou Bourdon on September 20, 1990, in Longueuil, Quebec, the pop singer first entered the public eye through a 2001 appearance on the television talent program Stars In The Home. A duet she cut with Gino Quilico in 2002 brought additional broadcast opportunities. That exposure drew the notice of René Angélil, the figure credited with shaping Celine Dion’s career, who secured her recording deals with both Sony Canada and Sony France. Her first full-length project, The Girl Who Sings, reached stores across Canada and Europe in 2005. The self-titled follow-up Marilou arrived in those same markets during May and June of 2007.
