Biography
Mark Pistel gained primary recognition through his role as a co-founder of the politically outspoken dance and hip-hop collective Consolidated. Extensive partnerships have also defined his output, including work with Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy on Hypocrisy Is the Greatest Luxury and Meat Beat Manifesto on Subliminal Sandwich, together with remixes created for numerous other performers. His self-titled solo album appeared in 1997.
