Formed in Britain, the pop duo brought together keyboardist and composer Julian Marshall, born 16 March 1954 in Exeter, Devon, England, with vocalist and songwriter Kit Hain, born 15 December 1956 in Cobham, Surrey, England. Their 1979 single ‘Dancing In The City’ delivered a memorable hit, while the follow-up ‘Coming Home’ offered another smooth, emotionally charged minor success. The sole album they released drew on contributions from percussionist Frank Ricotti, born 31 January 1949 in London, England, guitarist Dave Olney, percussionist Martin Ditcham, born 22 February 1951 in Ilford, Essex, England, drummer Harold Fisher, and guitarist Glen Nightingale. As chart momentum faded, Marshall found the demands of fame overwhelming and departed, prompting cancellation of a planned second album. He subsequently joined the Flying Lizards on piano. After their personal relationship ended, Kit Hain launched a solo career, moved to the USA, and established herself there as a successful songwriter.
