Milagres

Vocalist Kyle Wilson fronts the Brooklyn indie rock group Milagres. Their debut album Seven Summits came together during sessions on a Massachusetts farm, where Wilson’s prior experience scaling peaks shaped the material through hikes in the wild and anecdotes shared by mountain guides. The frontman suffered a severe back injury from a fall during a climbing trip shortly after finishing the record. He composed most of the follow-up while recovering in bed. Once healed, Wilson teamed with Chris Brazee, Steven Leventhal, Fraser McCulloch, and Eric Schwortz to lay down Glowing Mouth, issued on Kill Rock Stars in January 2012. Milagres emerged as a complete ensemble for their next effort, delivering the third album Violent Light in February 2014.
