Biography
In Ontario toward the end of the 1960s, saxophonist Steve Kennedy, guitarist Ken Marco, keyboard player William "Smitty" Smith, and drummer Wayne Stone came together to create Motherlode. The band reached the Top 40 in 1969 with the smooth "When I Die." Even so, the group disbanded two years after the album sharing that title appeared.
