Mr. Serv-On

Operating within Master P's No Limit Records roster, Mr. Serv-On attended high school alongside Master P and nearly all the label's other artists before inking his deal just as Master P prepared to cross over commercially. As Master P's Ghetto D climbed to the top of the album charts, Serv-On's Life Insurance—crafted with the in-house team Beats by the Pound—peaked at number 23 during September 1997. Three years afterward came War Is Me, Pt. 1: Battle Decisions, marking his initial project released outside the No Limit fold. Persistent difficulties with labels ensued until he secured a roster spot at D3 Entertainment, which issued No More Questions in early 2003.
