Naaz

Hailing from the Netherlands, Naaz crafts songs as a singer and songwriter whose aim is to uplift listeners, taking cues from Bruno Mars and Demi Lovato. She started composing music at age six, yet needed time to persuade her Kurdish family to let her share it openly. Cover renditions of pop tracks appeared first on her YouTube channel, leading to the 2013 debut single "Nobody Said," which she wrote with brother Yaad. Her feature surfaced on Yellow Claw & Flux Pavilion's "Catch Me" in 2015, after which "Sadboy" and "Escape" followed as singles in 2016. The track "Words" preceded the debut EP Bits of Naaz the next year.
