Naff

Emerging from Bandung, Indonesia, the rock band Naff gained widespread popularity after forming at the dawn of the 2000s. Their debut release, Terlahir, came out in 2000. The lineup featured Ady, also known as Ruyaedi Makmun, handling vocals; Ade, whose full name is Andri Kurniawan H, on guitars; Dedi Ginanjar Raksawardana also on guitars; Odeu Wijaya playing bass; and Hilal Hamzah on drums. In 2001 they put out their second album Terbang Tinggi, followed by NaFF the next year. Their 2006 effort Isyarat Hati earned praise from critics due to its diverse and adventurous qualities, with touches of Minang. Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine named it among the year's Top Ten Albums.
